Louise is an abstract painter, who is based on Anglesey. She is inspired by the rugged, harsh, weather-beaten coast which encircles the island. She aims to create abstracted spaces and landscapes, in which a sense of movement and energy exists. Her work experiments with a wide range of materials including stitch, collage, paints and pastels, as well as recycled or unwanted materials found on the island.
Louise graduated from Bath University in 2006. She is a trained art teacher, and currently runs art workshops in care homes and in her studio in Bodorgan.
